Food in KL area

Next stop... Kim Gary Restaurant, Mid Valley KL.

We always make a trip here because Simmy's cousin is working here. Just to pay her a visit... Here, always cramp with people somemore the food here is not cheap you know. We ordered a set meal which consist of soup...

Andrew's Verdict :

This breakfast in Petaling Street, KL is just before we depart to Malacca for holidays. It is located at the other end of the corner along Popular book store. It have been sometimes since I last had my Wanton Mee. So I ordered one... taste so so only...

Andrew's Verdict :

Simmy ordered Yee Mee soup....

Baoz also got a few branches around Klang Valley. The Baoz we went to is at Berjaya Times Square located at 1st floor near the monorail entrance.

They served all sort of bao and other light foods.. We ordered a bit of light foods... and white coffee.

Andrew's Verdict :

Not something to be excited off... maybe the pao they have taste more delicious... I don't know. Maybe next time.

Food in Klang area

The next day, we went to visit Simmy friend who is a designer... she happens to be Malaysia Project Runway Runner up. Do you guys recognize her?

Alex... short for Alexandrea. At least I know somebody who gone for TV shows... ha! My ways of saying no eyes see using her dolls...

We have this dry pork meat fishball kueh teow (诸肉鱼圆纷)... Very nice...

Andrew's Verdict :

This shop is located at Kota Kemuning, Klang. I didnt manage to take the shop name... so sorry about that... but it just an ordinary restaurant, I think beside Maybank if I'm not mistaken.

Food in Petaling Jaya & Damansara area

Okay... complaint received from Simmy... The picture is not attractive enough and small. I will try to make it as attractive as possible and making as large as possible... :)

Breakfast at Hong Kee Dim Sum at SS22 behind Atria and same row with Toto.

We had this breakfast with my brother Leo & his wife Jenn. We ordered Siu Mai, Har Kao, chu cheong fun, lor mai kai and others what to call also dun know... just pick only.

Andrew's Verdict :

Not bad... no wonder the place are cramp with people... somemore it is on Sunday... At the end, the breakfast was paid by my brother... Thanks ya.

Ikea, at along LDP opposite CineLeisure and beside Ikano Powerstation. The largest D.I.Y shop in Asia... Guess they just don't serve the best D.I.Y stuffs... they also serve the best Hotdog and Curry puff. I always purchased this two when I'm here. Hotdog for Simmy and Curry puff for me. The hotdog you can put as much mustard as you can...

all D.I.Y also... as for the currypuff, it is nice and even the egg inside is 1/4 big.

Andrew's Verdict :

After lots of shopping at One Utama, we managed to sit down at this Kebab King on Second floor of One utama (old wing). It is situated just near TGV and opposite of Action City.

We ordered the Kebab and enjoyed it. The things is huge and full of meats... check it out

Dairy King at Ikano basement. We had ice-cream courtesy of her sister...

Quite ok... not too sweet... Andrew's Verdict :

A night of gathering with Simmy's old friends at Swensens in SS2 Petaling Jaya. Swensens is a place where people chill out and famous for its expensive and delicious ice-cream... As we cannot afford to fill us up for another ice-cream, so we just have a cup of tea.

On that day, there is a promotion so they ordered this...

No verdict here because didn't taste it. The group photos...

Afternoon time, I went to SS2, PJ to look for place to have Roti canai. This shop is located opposite of McDonalds SS2. I forgotten the name. It is the only stalls at that moment who still serves Roti canai…

and Roti tissue...

Transformation

Attempting to use two blog site and blogging both the same contents is meaningless.... I will be turning this site to food site from now on.... I also did try to use wordpress to do one food site... but too damn hard and complicated... Guess I just turn this site into food site is more easier... I never really did a good food review blog... so this will be my virgin work.... meaning that this is my first food review and hopefully I can help to bring you guys the nice food in Sibu and maybe other places. The food I mention here in the blog will be solely only based on my opinion. From now on my personnel blog or traveling blog will moved to andrewsn.spaces.live.com Thank you for visiting but continue to enjoy my food blog... If you disagreed on my verdict for the food, please comment on it if you don’t agreed. All my verdict will be ranging from 1 star (Yuck!) to 5 stars (Delicious) If ranging 3 stars will means it is normal. I will be categorizing the places I visited from Expensive Restaurant, Mid range restaurant, Normal restaurant to even Hawkers stall.

First off... I will blog about the food I had at West Malaysia...

Food in LCCT Airport, KL
Last year trip to KL was quite ok except that I was rejected from going to Bangkok due to validity of my passport. Actually was planning to spend 4 days and 3 nights in Bangkok at that time and remaining days in KL... so end up spending all of the weeks at KL. But I managed to plan a trip to Malacca for two days within the period... I will blog about my Malacca trip later... but now I will blog about the food that I had consumed during that time....
Firstly, I will introduce the Mocha Ice blended with cream topping which I purchased during the waiting at the LCCT terminal.

Coffee Bean serves a lot of different coffee, tea and various of breads and cakes.... Cost at RM12++ but you can spend as long as you want there... some more you can still use wifi here.

Food in Kepong area
This photos taken in at a roadside restaurant situated along Jalan Kepong opposite of Kepong Police Station, where we had our dinner... we order 'Chao Yin Yong' (Fried Kueh Teow with Yii Mee and with eggs)

Andrew's Verdict :

This is call Hokien Fried Mee (福建面） (Fried with black sauce with mee and also added some fried pork oil) Very tasteful but look not so beautiful on pic.

In addition, we also called Fried Lala (A type of cramp to fried with ginger, chilly and some oyster sauce) Quite spicy but a little bit dirty...

Andrew's Verdict :
At one night, I had supper at this hawker stall at Kepong Baru. The hawker stall is called Kei Dak Sek (记得食)

It got a lot of branches all over the Klang valley. One at SS2 Petaling Jaya and one at KL at Jalan Imbi. Here is always good for a cold drinks like Sai Mai Lou & dimsum... We ordered Chu Cheong Fun, Lor mai kai, har kao, Honey Dew Sai mai lou & kiwi sai mai lou.

Andrew's Verdict :

The cheap vegetarian food at Taman Kepong opposite of Jusco Kepong. Just for RM2 and you can have a nice cheap meal... don't believe... even the signboard say this!

This restaurant is nice and clean. The drinks they served for free are chinese tea. If you think the quantity of the food is not a lot... then you will be mistaken... here is the food that I had taken and it only cost me RM2.

After you finish, just make sure you put back the things into the pail in order... follow the instruction...

Breakfast at Kepong, Taman Daya... I know you guys must be wondering why always Kepong... because that is the place where Simmy's aunt stays at. Okay, back to the food... This pan mee you can order either by pull or by string. Pull mean they will roll the mee flour flat and then will pull pieces out bit by bit... for string means the will grind the mee flour down and it will come out like strings of mee. I ordered dry pan mee and Simmy ordered soup pan mee using pull.
