My trip to KL & Leo's trip to Sibu...
Wednesday (24.01.07)
Arrived in LCCT around 12pm. Took a 12.15pm Skybus to KL Sentral. Cost me RM9. (Aiyah... later I only know got other bus company there. Somemore can buy both ways for only RM14 nia) Gek sam... [Photo] Reached at KL Sentral and my bro Thule aka Leo fetched me up. Bring me to his home at Bandar Utama. Nicely decorated. Should have taken some photo of the interior... Looking through his wedding photo album and discover that got nice scenery at Ulu Yam and Putrajaya. After that, me and my wife went to One Utama for shopping. Then we went to friend shop to check out the fashion stuff and chat for a while. At night only went to my wife aunty house to stay. We went out to have dinner with her aunty.
Thursday
Morning time, we went down to Sg. Buloh to meet up with her grandparents and her another aunty. We took her grandmother and cousin sister to breakfast and eat Pan Mee. Then only we went down to Petaling Street. Reached there around 10.35am. We bought some items for her work and some new year clothing for me. I love the stuff that I bought there... 4 words to describe it "cool", "kool" & "Super kool".... She manage to get a bit only there. Because of the high parking rate, we left around 3.30pm which is like RM15. We went to Kepong Jusco and walk abit and take some bread as night time, her aunty cooked us dinner. At night, me and my bro went out to have some boozing and dancing. Not much changes in the night life i should says... Came back much more early then I promised my queen.
Friday
Today mission is Midvalley. Went over to bring her another cousin sister to Midvalley. Take a few light meals at Kim Gary Restaurant. After that, shopping time again until we felt tired and want to leave. We said good bye to her cousin and we went to Ikano. Shop a bit at IKEA and went over to Cine Leisure to find a friend of Simmy. Something Kitty is the shop name. Still under renovation, so we didnt manage to see her. Like some of the stuff at IKEA, too bad cannot bring back to Sibu because scared it will break. Then at night went to Kepong to have dinner with her daddy and sister.
Saturday (The Big Day for my Bro 27.01.07)
Went over to his house around 8:00am. Chat with his cousin and friends. Taking off around 9:30am. I am incharge of the camera man, so I reached the bride house first. Take some photo with my mini camera. Felt a bit "paiseh" (embarassed) because got professional photographer there... Me only Kacang Putih. (Small bean) After fetching the bride home, we had a buffet lunch. Me and my wife went to One Utama after finish. We then, go to her father house to pick up "Belacang" or Chili stuff... Then we went to Carefour in Kepong to meet up with her sis. We check out her daughter Zoe. She look so beautiful now but she very scared of people... even see my wife also cry... At night, went to Leo dinner at Concorde Hotel... hmmm... jam like nobody business but at least the food there are nice... Meet up with some of the RS people... Aeron, Shien, Gwen, Geraldine and husband, June, Shino and boyfriend.
Sunday
Have Dim Sum at Tuck Kei in Taman Maluri, Kepong. After breakfast, we went again to her grandmother house. And went back home in the afternoon. Prepare ourself and returned my bro car to his house and finally set my way to KL Sentral. We took some drinks at Coffee Bean which in Sibu dont have. And as usual... the flight delay and we reached home around 10.30pm... Tired like hell because of the shopping and the rush...
Good bye KL and I will be seeing you again in July!!
Leo's Trip to Sibu...2nd Feb
Friday
My brother Leo and his wife come and look for me. So happy... Nothing much on the first day as his friend bring him around Sibu area... As for me... I was thinking of bringing them to Pasar Malam Sibu or Muhibah (A place like Ming Tien, Full of nice stuff to eat).
Saturday
Bring them for lunch after I finished work. Bringing them to an old shop area to an alley. Luckily they didnt mind the place is slightly old, dirty and hot. There the uncle cook a nice Tiam Man Ngu (Foo Chow) or somethings that look like Pan Mee. After the food, brought them to a shopping mall which sales a lot of DVD... Bought a lot of nice movies as well as me. Then I brought them to my home. Then at night, we brought them to eat 2 dish of crap meat, 1 seafood soup, 2 type of vegetables, meat, toufu and one pork leg... nicely done. After the meal, we went to pub and ordered 2 box of Heineken... Sing a few song and dance a little bit there. Then we change to another pub called Hijau at a Hotel Lounge. Nice place also... but slightly more expensive... Ha.. We went there for a while...
Sunday
Have breakfast at a restaurant near his friend shop. Manage to order different type of stuffs for them to try out. Then I bring them to Market to buy pineapple. The Pineapple here is large and very sweet. After buying the pineapple, I bring them to see Agung's Suite. Then we went to shopping mall to exchange some DVD that he wrongly bought. In the afternoon time, we went to a restaurant to have some ice kacang and Kom bia (Bread with pork meat). Meet up with his friend and chat for a while. At night time, before sending them back to airport, we manage to bring them to Pasar Malam (Night Market) to buy various type of food. Then sadly, we send them off at the airport...
A Nickle For My Thought!
Maybe sooner or later, we can catch up again... maybe next time we plan for Bangkok trip together... Cheers...
